Hi, my name is Jeff Knight and I own one of the largest brokerages in North Georgia and have been serving clients for over 12 years. I’ve also been investing in real estate ever since I was a kid. Bob McDonald (CCIM) - also known as "The Commercial Guy" - will give you a step by step system by which you can put thousands of dollars in your clients’ pockets focussing on 1 - 4 family properties.

Bob first became involved in investment real estate in Georgia in 1991, turning it into a full time career in February 1997. He quickly identified that he wanted to work with businessmen and investors and turned his focus towards the commercial and investment end of the business. In February 1998, Bob joined the boutique commercial firm of Bull Realty where he worked until late 2006 when he transferred to Keller Williams Realty. In 2004 he obtained the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designation. Bob is now the Director of Commercial Development for EXIT Realty Georgia where he is growing one of the largest commercial/investment networks in the state.

During his career, Bob’s passion for the business has shown through in the many commercial and investment real estate classes he has taught and the successful agents he has worked with and mentored. A consistent multi-million producer, Bob is a life member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club. With the number of properties heading into foreclosure at all-time highs, short sales are becoming increasingly popular as lenders and homeowners look to avoid the costly foreclosure process. This course will equip the savvy real estate professional with the necessary tools and expertise to facilitate a successful short sale. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to identify those situations where a short sale may be possible and will learn 8 important questions to ask a seller to determine whether a short sale might be feasible. Participants will also identify the requisite components of the "workout package" to be submitted for the lender’s approval.

Bobby Gaines serves as Executive Director of the American Academy of Real Estate and qualifying broker for Milestone Realty Group. Mr. Gaines is an avid real estate investor and has been buying and selling real estate in the state of Georgia for over 12 years. Mr. Gaines is a graduate of Jacksonville State University where he received a BS degree in Finance and Economics. He also has served as litigation specialist with the U.S. Bankruptcy Administrator and is a leading authority on distressed properties in the state of Georgia. His humor and "down-home" style of teaching are greatly appreciated by students throughout Georgia as he presents difficult concepts in a practical, easy to understand manner.
